University lecturer Dr. Christoph Strnadl
Vice President, Innovation & Architecture Software AG
Univ.-Lektor Dr. Christoph F. Strnadl, CBPP, born 1966 (nationality: Austrian) started working for Software AG in 2005 as Chief IT Architect and, later, CTO for Central and Eastern Europe. In 2019 he moved to his current position as Vice President Innovation & Architecture in the CTO Office where he is responsible for identifying and realizing technology innovations both internally, with clients or partners, and within industry associations. This includes open innovation processes, ecosystem labs, and leading edge co-innovation projects.
Prior to that, Dr. Strnadl held various management positions at Atos (Austria), amongst others for the Operational Infrastructure service line. There he also founded the Management Consulting practice with focus on information management and IT strategy. In the course of this activity he developed and published several new methods in IT consulting such as the IT driver model and an IT investment appraisal method.
Dr. Strnadl is a recognized public speaker with over 270 appearances; he is university lecturer on BPM technologies at Danube University Krems, Austria and co-author of two books. He is Senior Reviewer for Computing Reviews and Senior Member of the IEEE.
Dr. Strnadl holds an M.Sc. (honors) and Ph.D (summa cum laude) in Theoretical Physics from the Technical University of Vienna, Austria, and a post-graduate degree in Management Science from the University of Huddersfield, UK.
He is a practicing Karate black belt and also interested in law and analytic philosophy. Christoph is married with two children and lives in Vienna, Austria.
